EyeDiagnos content is designed to make eye care easier to understand and to help visitors seek appropriate professional care. The website does not diagnose disease and does not replace an in-person examination.

Sources

Priority is given to official or professional patient-information sources, including Dutch health information when available and internationally recognised organisations such as the National Eye Institute, NHS, CDC and professional eye-care organisations.

Keeping information current

Medical-information pages show a last-updated date. Important changes in guidance, safety information or urgent-care advice should be incorporated as soon as practicable.

Safety boundaries

When symptoms may indicate an acute eye problem, users are directed to appropriate urgent care. Online vision checks, simulations and games are screening or educational tools only.

EyeDiagnos does not claim clinical review by a named professional unless that person and qualification are explicitly shown on the relevant page. Treatment-specific or practice-specific content requires professional review before publication.
